The main objective of my STSM was the recruitment of a paediatric TB cohort at Children's National Hospital, Washington DC, USA, to validate deep learning approaches we had already developed for the detection of TB-compatible pediatric chest X-rays. This tool is intended for screening of TB and/or its inclusion in clinical algorithms for the diagnosis of paediatric TB. The results of this study are currently under review and we acknowledge the support of ADVANCE-TB.
