Compound database and antimicrobial testing protocols
The ADVANCE-TB Consortium has developed a structured database of antimicrobial compounds with activity against mycobacteria that are being developed by members of the ADVANCE-TB community.
The database encompasses a broad range of compound classes and chemical families (e.g., enzymatic inhibitors, natural products, metal-based), providing a valuable resource to support the discovery and development of new anti-mycobacterial therapies.
In addition to the compound information, ADVANCE-TB has collected and compiled the methodologies used by the consortium members to assess antimicrobial activity in different experimental setups.
Together, these resources aim to promote knowledge exchange, foster new collaborations, and support the development of multidisciplinary research partnerships and consortia.
