In this study, we developed a nanoparticle-based delivery system aimed at improving antimicrobial treatment for tuberculosis (TB). The nanoparticles were synthesized from polymers derived from renewable resources, using a plant oil-based monomer. Curcumin, selected as a model compound, was encapsulated into the nanoparticles during their formation in an acetone medium. Our method offers a promising approach for controlled drug release, with the potential to enhance the efficacy of TB therapy while reducing associated side effects.
